JAPAN HOUSE Los Angeles Closure to be Extended Beyond March 31 Until Further Notice
JAPAN HOUSE Los Angeles has been closed to the public from March 18, 2020. The closure, initially scheduled to end on March 31, 2020, has been extended until further notice in compliance with the Executive Order N-33-20 by the State of California and safer at home orders by the County and the City of Los Angeles which were enacted on Thursday, March 19 to fight against spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

JAPAN HOUSE LA to Temporarily Close beginning March 18
The safety of our visitors and staff as well as our communities is our top priority. JAPAN HOUSE Los Angeles will temporarily close to the public from March 18 through March 31, 2020, to take preventive measures against spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
The decision is in keeping with recommendations from the World Health Organization, the Center for Disease Control and other local departments of health as well as recent announcements by President Donald Trump, California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti.
We will keep you posted on when we will be able to reopen and resume events through our email, website and social media (@JapanHouseLA, @JHLosAngeles).
