Gallery and Shop Opens at JAPAN HOUSE Los Angeles

The Gallery and Shop are now open in JAPAN HOUSE Los Angeles (JHLA). The inaugural exhibition in the Gallery features the cutting-edge experimental fashions and artistic collaborations of Kunihiko Morinaga, founder of the design house ANREALAGE. The Shop offers authentic, beautifully curated products direct from Japan.

“It is a great pleasure for us to open the JAPAN HOUSE Los Angeles Gallery and Shop,” says Yuko Kaifu, President of JHLA. “The opening of these facilities is an exciting precursor to the Grand Opening of the entire JAPAN HOUSE Los Angeles facility, scheduled for summer 2018,” she says. “I hope everyone will visit JAPAN HOUSE LA to enjoy the inaugural exhibition as well as the expertly curated selection of unique Japanese retail products.”

When the JHLA facilities open on the fifth floor of Hollywood & Highland this summer, JHLA will occupy some 14,000 sq. ft. in total. The fifth-floor space at JHLA will contain an elegant, fine-dining Japanese restaurant; a relaxing library with free WiFi; a flexible salon and event venue for presentations, receptions, demonstrations, workshops and screenings; and spectacular views of Hollywood and downtown Los Angeles.

Visitors can ride Metro’s Red Line subway to the Hollywood/Highland station. Plentiful parking also is available in the Hollywood & Highland garage located under the complex. (Enter from Highland Ave.). Parking is just $2 for two hours with validation from JHLA.
