JAPAN HOUSE presented the annual "Japan Night" prior to the Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Tamapa Bay Ray game at Dodger Stadium, to announce its first public opening to the Los Angeles community. A pre-game press conference was held with Dodgers team pitcher Kenta Maeda, Consul General Akira Chiba, and JAPAN HOUSE President Yuko Kaifu. This was followed by Consul General Chiba's first-pitch wearing a custom JAPAN HOUSE jersey and a entertainment lineup including legendary Japanese musician EXILE ATSUSHI, dance performer Kenichi Ebina, and soul singer Judith Hill for the approximately 40,000 baseball fans.
